I was, and to a large degree, still am cynical about many things. I don’t think that I’m easily taken in, not normally anyway, and when I met and got to know Lina, my witch as I thought of her, I was, and perhaps still am, generally cynical and disbelieving by and large…
I’ve really no idea how much Lina affected RS and his way of working and living or indeed thinking, but evidently not all that shines is gold, as they say…
When we were supposed to be having our weekly lessons invariably the phone would go intermittently, I would become invisible (to her at least) and she would chat away without any apparent inhibition…
But something which surprised me was, a little, that when I spoke to people about this kind of thing (Lina and her wacky ideas) many were sympathetic to this kind of thinking or approach. In fact on one occasion when I was going into her place, I met a friend’s wife coming out. Strange. Yes, very strange…
It never rains it only pours! Rob’s Hypnosis VIP | Youtube | Facebook | Twitter | Amazon | iTunes | instagram | by Costanza When I first started chatting with Lina, and started to understand what she did for a living, I imagined her clients to be sfigati – an Italian term used to …
I once had a friend who was unlucky. Not like most people are unlucky. But really unlucky! Everything in M’s life was unlucky, and she always seemed to have problems and arguments with people. Not with me, as I say she was a friend, and we got on very well.
For me everything that Lina did was completely new, and… well incredibly wacky. I remember her telling me about a therapy she gave which was called re-birthing.
I would pop along to her studio once a week, and we would have lessons. My English lessons are I suppose pretty normal, I try not to be too boring and try to be entertaining, as much as possible, but inevitably it is necessary to have your student understand certain little concepts, and sometimes things need to be remembered somewhere in the old grey matter somewhere along the line…
Paul McKenna may well have got me into doing hypnosis and EFT and different things, but I first came into the weird and wacky world of alternative therapy a couple of years earlier…
I’ve lived in Italy for a long time now, and so for quite a lot of things, what’s on TV for example in the UK, I’ve pretty much lost touch…
I wasn’t brought up to go to church, or to believe in God or anything, and so if anyone were to ask me now if I believed in God or anything else, I’d probably have to say no.
And so back to Andy… Rob’s Hypnosis VIP | Youtube | Facebook | Twitter | Amazon | iTunes | And so back to Andy. As I was saying I had been popping along to his place regularly over the weeks, normally of a morning, and I was enjoying it all immensely. Chatting about all sorts …
I mentioned previously the problem of translation [ did you know that the first Christian holy book was written in Hebrew? And from there it was translated into Latin?
Because of working calendars and what with one thing or another, the classes in a group of adults didn’t materialise, and I ended up going to Andy’s flat for what would best be described as informal chats.
Confirmations Rob’s Hypnosis VIP | Youtube | Facebook | Twitter | Amazon | iTunes | So, we went to church. And it was good. We met lots of interesting people, and felt to be part of it all. And the children grew. And grew. So when our oldest Connie got to about 13, it seemed …
Kids Rob’s Hypnosis VIP | Youtube | Facebook | Twitter | Amazon | iTunes | As the kids grew a little older, we thought that some kind of church would be a good idea. There is an English speaking Anglican Church in Lugano, and so we thought we would pop along to suss it …
After the Christmas holidays things went back to normal as they always do; work, children, rushing here and there etc. etc. I did notice however, that Don P was often missing mealtimes at the Mrs P household…
Mrs P’s son GL was a kind and generous boy of about 27 at that time, and was just a ‘good’ guy. He also did a lot of work for the church, helping Don P and helping out teaching bible studies to the kids of the church.
We were living in this old house on three floors on the lake, which was in really a beautiful position, but it had thick walls and was hard to keep warm in winter…
Y was from Morocco, and worked as a delivery man, delivering drinks and things to bars and restaurants around the area. He came from a large family who were farmers in Morocco, and sent money back each month to help support them…
